The Infusion is a non-powered hybrid foam mattress. Blake's current page describes a dual-density foam base, firm side bolsters, and a 2 inch gel-infused memory foam topper. The cover is 4-way stretch, antimicrobial, fluid-proof, and wipeable.

Gel infusion is not the same as a Geo-Matrix gel sheet. The memory foam still immerses the person. The gel particles are there to limit how much heat the foam holds, which Blake says reduces perspiration and the risk of skin maceration. There is no pump and no cycle.

Firm foam along each long edge gives a more stable shelf for sitting and standing than an all-soft foam edge.
