The Assistive Devices Program (ADP) is an Ontario government program that helps people with long-term physical disabilities pay for customized equipment like wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and other assistive devices. Who Qualifies for ADP Funding?
To qualify for ADP funding in Ontario, you must:
- Be an Ontario resident with a valid Ontario Health Card
- Have a long-term physical disability (6 months or longer)
- Be assessed by an authorized ADP assessor
- Purchase equipment from a registered ADP vendor like Westin Healthcare
What Equipment is Covered by ADP?
ADP covers up to 75% of the cost of many mobility devices including:
- Wheelchairs – Manual, power, and tilt-in-space wheelchairs
- Mobility Scooters – 3-wheel and 4-wheel scooters
